Youth Leadership

This program is built with Greta Thunberg as the role model and what we want youth in our program to inspire to be in the future. Here are some of her quotes about climate change, making a difference and standing up to those who harass her:
Impact: "I have learned you are never too small to make a difference."
Intention: "The moment we decide to fulfill something, we can do anything."
Empowerment: "When haters go after your looks and differences, it means they have nowhere left to go. And then you know you're winning!"
Change: "Right here, right now is where we draw the line. The world is waking up. And change is coming whether you like it or not."
Persistence: “You must take action. You must do the impossible. Because giving up is never an option.”
Purpose: “I’m not that special. I can’t convince everyone. I’m just going to do what I want to do and what will have the most impact.”

Our Program

We envision a community where all youth have an opportunity to develop in a safe, healthy, and prosperous community in which youth are the primary agents of social change.

Family leadership conference

Fateh Foundation believes that families play a key role in youth development. Through our Family leadership conference youth and parents are given the opportunity to learn about the importance of higher education, adopting digital native mindset, cybersecurity, being an advocate for your children and building positive family communication. The three-day experience is held in the Mountains of Santa Cruz and hosts children and their parents( with childcare available throughout the entire Weekend)

Youth leadership conference

Our work with the youth begins during the summer youth leadership conference, where youth from across the West are able to develop leadership skills in a safe and supportive environment. We start with a 4-day residential experience which takes place in the Mountains of Yosemite. We follow this with Virtual and In-person sessions where youth participants are introduced to building blocks of leadership; public speaking, goal setting, assertiveness, advocacy and self-esteem.
